| Best-known for her role as Diane Chambers on the long-running TV show "Cheers," Ms. Long has been in dozens of movies (including two Brady Bunch movies, Irreconcilable Differences, The Money Pit, and Outrageous Fortune), and on a number of television shows, including the recent Kelly Kelly.
Born in Fort Wayne, IN on August 23 1949, she got her first big break working at Chicago's Candlelight Dinner Theatre. She won three Emmy Awards for her roles as co-writer and producer for TV show "Sorting It Out." She also earned a Best Actress Emmy for her role on "Cheers."
