Frank Buxton
 
Born on Februrary 13, 1930 in Wellesley, MA, this Northwestern University (BS) and Syracuse University (MS) alumnus directed some of the classic 1970s TV programs, including "Mork & Mindy," "Happy Days," "The Odd Couple," and "Love, American Style" and created the Peabody Award-winning series "Hot Dog." His film acting credits include Overboard (1987), Beaches (1988), and Frankie and Johnny (1991), as well as several TV movies. He wrote and created voices for the Woody Allen "What's Up, Tiger Lilly?", and has done many, many cartoon and commercial voice-overs.

After serving in the U.S. army during the Korean War, he worked in local television both in Buffalo, NY and Chicago, IL, becoming a stand-up comedia, TV host ("Discovery" and "Get The Message"), and a stage performer.
