The new Mainstage Theater, formerly the home of professional dinner theater for 30 years, has undergone a $4 million renovation. The Mainstage Theater now offers stadium seating for 320 individuals, improved sightlines for all audience members and state-of-the-art sound and lighting. A studio space is also used for smaller shows such as the long-running comedy "Flanagan's Wake." In a partnership with The Noble Fool Theater, you can catch a variety of comedies there- everything from Shakespeare to the latest Steve Martin play. Dinner and a show packages are available. Part of the Pheasant Run Resort and Spa, the theater can be just a fun part of a luxurious weekend; the rooms are comfortable, and with a comedy club, a cafe and a couple of bars on premesis, there's plenty to do. If all of this doesn't suit your taste, further west on Route 64 there's a series of malls that include restaurants (yes, there's a Chipotle) and there's also a Steak & Shake further east.
