Description of Fine Arts Building

The Fine Arts Building is a historically significant building that has become a haven for classically trained musicians/teachers, artists, architects, theater groups and dance troupes. The building is a national and city historic landmark and houses the Studebaker and Playhouse theaters. Built in 1885, it started and continues as an all-artist colony. The building is open to the public.
