Immediately dispensing with the romance and mystique of upscale sushi restaurants, Tokyo Marina serves down-home sushi in a simple environment. Not minimalist or deco; just normal.

This place is bright and feels a bit like a cafeteria with non-interested people serving you. The food is not exactly delicious by sushi standards but the portions are Stonehenge-like and unadorned. So if you are expecting pretty, flavor-filled creations, go elsewhere. These are actually more like hungry-man portions that are slapped together and presented to you in a manner that reminds you that you are here to eat, not to be left breathless by decorated raw fish.

This is the place to go when you have that hankering for sushi and you don't want to spend a bundle. And even though it is positioned seemingly in the middle of nowhere and its appearance may be less than inviting, do not be afraid. Your belongings and your stomach are safe.
