I only have one question: What's not to love about Tiparos Thai? The dining room is bright, spacious, squeaky clean and ideal for just about any occasion. It's sophisticated enough (behold the beautiful tapestries on exposed brick walls) for a business lunch and comfortable enough for date night or a casual dinner with the gang. But you don't really need the gang since you can carry out or, better yet, have your Thai feast delivered ($10 minimum). Other amenities you ought to take advantage of include Tiparos' full bar, sidewalk patio, a parking lot and some of the friendliest, most attentive staff in town.
With Thai standards, vegetarian-friendly options and all levels of spiciness, Tiparos' menu keeps even the pickiest eaters happy. And, more importantly, everything is of utmost freshness. You'll find super-authentic spring rolls, satay, crab rangoon, shrimp dumplings and lots more above-average appetizers. Or you can do as I do and order the Tiparos Platter, an assortment of starters that begs to be shared with a friend or two.
Next, choose from salads and soups aplenty or head straight to the main course: chicken, beef, duck and seafood dishes are house specialties. And let's not forget the noodles…pad Thai is a winner, and regulars rave about the pad see eiw, prepared with your choice of chicken or beef. For dessert, go with ice cream (coconut, mango, lychee, green tea or red bean), Thai custard or the ever-popular smoothies.
