With the closing of the world-renowned Big Burrito and mysterious disappearance of its owner Rick a few years back, El Famous captured the title of most popular far North Side burrito joint. Though El Famous is only famous to neighborhood residents and area college students, it is usually packed late-nights. They serve relatively inexpensive Mexican fare mostly to locals and drunk college students.
