Don't even think about comparing a single aspect of this corner coffee joint to Sex and the City. Dark wood floors and a colorful selection of Numi tea packages covering the shelves define the look of the place, which feels more like a corporate chain than an indie café. Despite the wi-fi access (it's not free), you're better off grabbing your goods and hitting the pavement due to the thumbprint-size dimensions of the space.
While the interior leaves much to be desired in terms of personality, the menu makes up for it with an array of a little this and a little that. A spinning deli case keeps a few tiers of cheesecakes cool, along with prepackaged salads of the Greek and Rimini (plus prosciutto, feta and gorgonzola) variety.
In addition to the expected soups and baked goods, fresh sushi clues customers into its Asian flare. On top of frappes, espresso drinks, smoothies, fruit chillers and bubble teas, owner Donna Sim introduces patrons to a typical Asian dessert: shaved ice, fruit and syrup served with green tea or strawberry ice cream.
