This standard greasy-grill may not cook as mean of a dog as the infamous Superdawg a few blocks north, but it tries its little family-owned heart out for two bucks cheaper ($2.20), complete with all the trimmings. And if it happens to be your birthday, Bulls Eye will slash the price completely, offering the combo for free.
Otherwise, think cafeteria decor – not a single piece of art or little league team picture adorns a wall. Bulls Eye concentrates on all the Maxwell Polish, Italian sausage and burger norms, at golden arch prices, with a bonus set of fries and one hefty side of your choice – mashed potatoes, cornbread stuffing, marinated tortellini and giant portions of coleslaw.
The few entrees available boost the magic side-option number to two. Flash the fanciest side of the joint with tarragon-baked half chickens and port wine-braised beef. These entrees still hits the pocket light for under $7 apiece. And some mean handmade milkshakes should not go without mention at $2.75.
