Bear in mind: the holography is cheestastic. You probably saw more fireworks on your old Atari 2600. And that's the whole point. The Museum of Holography has the charms of a Troy McClure "Wonders of Plastic" video. It's Simpsons-esque in its failure. But only if viewed ironically, because if you go to be amazed you’ll leave feeling as empty as the hologram of Michael Jordan they so proudly display for the kids. Unmistakably a pleasure of the guilty variety. But then again, given the wares hocked by most of the surrounding galleries in the West Loop, at least this place doesn't claim its "art" is great, and the wares are substantially cheaper to boot.
