| Founded by Joseph Glymph, Music Director, these orchestras provide high level professional orchestral training to: Classical Symphony Orchestra (undergraduate, graduate students and young adults) and The Protege Philharmonic (high school and advanced junior high school students), 2 very high level training orchestras founded in 1979. The Orchestras draw from the entire Chicago metropolitan area including Northwest Indiana. They perform a series of free concerts throughout the year in Preston Bradley Hall at The Chicago Cultural Center and 2 concerts annually in the Grand Ballroom at Navy Pier. Concerts are extremely popular and attract usually "standing room only" audiences. For more information, visit their website: http://classicalsymphonyorchestra.org/
