What to expect: This fundraiser for The Land Connection features food and drink from the likes of Goose Island, Pastoral, Bread & Wine, plus a tasting menu inspired by ramps, the first edible greens to appear in Midwestern forests each spring (they're kind of like onions).
Why to go: The tasting menu includes selections from the chefs of 312 Chicago, Blackbird, Lula, Va Pensiero and Vie. Items will include beet-cured sturgeon with ramp kimchi and a ramp-infused crepe with roasted red pepper cream cheese (see the website for the full menu).
