Date: August 25-26, 2007

Cost: $5-10 donation; kids under 5 free

Organizer: Genesis at the Crossroads

What to expect: A stretch of Lincoln Park turned into a bazaar featuring music, art and more.

Why to go: It's not like you can ride a camel every day. Plus it's a perfect place for kids, with drumming and dance workshops sure to bring out any hidden creative genius.

Additional info: The event is sponsored by Genesis at the Crossroads, a Chicago-based non-profit that uses the arts to "bridge cultures in conflict." Learn more about the Middle East through music, art and storytelling. On Saturday, there will be an evening concert at 7 p.m. On Sunday, there will be a Finale Performance featuring Moroccan-Moslem oud virtuoso Haj Youness.
