What to expect: Over 50,000 people, live music, plus plenty of corn to go around, too (it's free on Saturday during the corn boil from 11 a.m.-2 p.m.)
Why to go: It's one of the last remaining free music festivals in Illinois...you've gotta support it.
Additional info: In addition to the corn boil, there will be an auto fest, a bike rally, bus tours, a street carnival, a craft fest a 3K Walk/10K run and even a golf outing. Friday night is carnival wristband night for the kids with unlimited rides from 6-10pm. Festival areas include booths, a craft fest and a beer garden.
