What to expect: A celebration of a Chicago classic, this three day festival features traditional food, live music and plenty of Berghoff beer.
Why to go: The event coincides with the release of the Berghoff family cookbook; the authors will be signing books daily from 11 a.m.-1 p.m. and 5-6 p.m.
Additional info: The music lineup includes Hairbangers Ball (5-9 p.m. Wednesday), Maggie Speaks (5-9 p.m Thursday), Johnny Wagner (11 a.m.-2 p.m. daily) and The Business (5-9 p.m. Friday). The charity beneficiary is Horizons for Youth, which provides need-based scholarships, one-on-one mentoring and enrichment programs for youth.
