Though its tinted windows and signage adorn the Galeria insignia, this Ablanian/Serbian frequented club doesn't appear to beat an obvious drum of anything particularly exciting. Even upon stepping inside, its first room is a standard bar, complete with a Brian Urlacher Bears jersey on the wall. But if you shoot back to its second room, a DJ booth stands proud amidst heavy, Mediterranean curtains, leather couches and marble tables abound. It's as if Galeria turns on its club lights with the flick of a switch.
However, most of its galas are catered to those who rent out the venue for themed functions, of which the aforementioned Albanian crew put up on shop on Fridays at 9 p.m. – simply dubbed Albanian Party. The public is welcome, even those under 21. Either way, it's not frequented enough, mostly because of its locale, so it functions as a late-night Plan B for those looking to commandeer a dance floor.
