None of the other bars in Wrigleyville purport themselves to be year-round sports bars as much as Sluggers. It has the most TVs, the biggest beer list (with lots of interesting micro-brews) and a gallimaufry of Cubs, Bulls, Bears and Blackhawks relics hanging on the walls. Of course, Sluggers wouldn't be Sluggers without its signature second floor full of games: the namesake batting cages, trampoline basketball, electronic football, quick-shot basketball and skee-ball. Dueling piano nights on Friday and Saturday host musicians from around the country.

On many counts, Sluggers is the dingier, less-stylized fore bearer of the ESPN Zone concept. Whereas ESPN Zones are slick, cookie-cutter replicas of one another (not to mention especially pricey), Sluggers is an economical Wrigleyville original. It's a memorable spot to bring little Bobby or Jenny before the game and have them hit a few in the cages while Dad throws down a few. Despite the arcade amenities, always remember that is a sports bar, so don't be surprised if you see a few mullets walking around.
