There's a breathtaking view from the 95th floor of the John Hancock building through floor-to-ceiling windows. The food's good, and you pay for it, too. The dinner menu includes a comfortable range of dishes such as five-spice Muscovy duck breast, crispy filet of salmon, roasted rack of lamb and vegetarian sauteed linguine pasta. Since you're already splurging, why not up your caloric intake for the evening as well? Try the warm Godiva chocolate cake with pistachio sauce.
Reservations are recommended for the Sunday brunch buffet ($42 adults), featuring impressive spread replete with carved beef, crepes or pancakes, whole poached salmon, smoked lox, a selection of gourmet salads and signature desserts.
A pianist plays lounge jazz on Friday and Saturday evenings, and there's also a jazz trio on Saturday nights. Lunch dress is casual, but go business casual for brunch and upscale casual for dinner (jacket and tie optional).
