The menu at this Lakeview bar boasts a whole page of craft brews and another devoted entirely to wine.
But what really matters here is the stuff that gets poured over rocks. Much to the delight of the bar's patrons, that stuff just happens to be whiskey. That's not to say that you can't get a good ol' gin and tonic, but why bother when you've got a whiskey list touting everything from laid-back Jack to top-shelf Glen?
As the selection of whiskey, wine and microbrews weren't already enough, Rocks offers a full menu of appetizers, sandwiches and salads. And the foodstuffs are cheap, so you can splurge on what really matters here. There are a few items though, that steal the show, like Rocks fried macaroni and cheese bites, white trash nachos and hickory steak sandwich.
Other house favorites include a goat cheese chicken salad, blackened chicken fettuccini and the bar's signature half-pound Rock burger with bacon, pepper jack cheese and onion strings.
