This Marquette Park location of a popular suburban pizza chain lacks the drawing cards of its other two locations, namely the live music and beer garden. But if you're looking for affordable and efficient pizza, pasta and submarine sandwiches, you won't be disappointed. This cavernous storefront pizza joint has a clean appearance, but one look at the bulletproof glass and bank teller-style slots where you transfer your money to the cashier is all you need to be reminded that you're in a rougher part of the city.
Papa T's has sufficient fast-food restaurant-style seating, should you choose to eat in. The menu runs the gamut of sports-bar comfort food, just without the sports bar. Personal-size pizzas start at $5.50 (with one topping); a family-size pie goes for $12.45. Sandwich options range from a gourmet burger priced at $2.50 to a dry gyros platter priced at $5.49. Pasta dinners are simple at Papa T's: your only options are spaghetti or lasagna (meatballs or Italian sausage cost extra). Seafood lovers fare slightly better. Their options here include jumbo shrimp, perch, or catfish. At $8.95, the catfish is the best deal.
