This Jefferson Park gem, mysteriously known as the Gale Street Inn (it's on Milwaukee Avenue), has some of the downright tastiest ribs ($16.95 for a half-rack) this side of the Midwest, and some pretty creative martinis to top them off. Try a Midnight Express, a mix of Vox vodka, Dekuyper, Blue Curacao and Chambord with a twist. Starters include Clams Casino, baked and topped with diced peppers, bacon and breadcrumbs, and oysters on the half shell. Consider a Cajun Chicken Spinach combination for a salad or coldwater lobster tails for an entree. Be prepared to wait for a table on weekend nights unless you have a big group (reservations are only accepted for parties of six or more), but you can always enjoy some jazz by the bar. Keep your parking money in your pocket; there's a free lot with plenty of room for your twenty-door stretch Humvee.
