The aptly named Closet is pretty small and pretty literal, inviting its gay crowd to come out of one closet and into another. The once-well-known lesbian bar caters to both men and women these days, but does so without much elbow room. The one-room space has only two unisex bathrooms, so expect to wait in line on crowded weekends before breaking the seal.

Grab a seat at the bar or a stool against the wall or front windows; either way, you'll be serviced by the friendly and efficient staff. Drinks get even tastier when paired with a weekday deals: Try $2.50 domestic bottles on Tuesdays, $5 you-call-it martinis on Wednesdays and $3.50 well drinks on Fridays. Entertainment includes three TVs, a Silver Strike bowling arcade game and a jukebox that plays lots of '70s dance music. If "It's Raining Men," "I Will Survive," and "Boogie Oogie Oogie" are some of your favorites, you've found your place. While the size of the bar isn't conducive to an actual dance floor, people practice their moves as the night goes on.
