Located in the middle of Grass Lake, Blarney Island requires patrons to either visit with their own boat or ride Blarney Island's shuttle service. The bar has been described as "spring break... in Antioch." Judging by the array of photos of bikini-clad twentysomethings on Blarney Island's Web site, that description isn't too far off.

The bar has been in existence since 1901, and its become the place to party on the Chain O'Lakes. Its motto? "Beer, Boats, and Babes." A frat-boy feel dominates. Themed nights such as Tropical Night and Industry Night bring in patrons during the week, and on weekends, visitors can enjoy live music. Blarney Island is only open from May until late fall each year.
