It's difficult to have a bad time at Diversey River Bowl, and it shows in the crowds that pour in. If you visit on weekends, expect a wait, and expect to glow in the dark, courtesy of the Thursday-Sunday light show, complete with thumping beats. Lanes range $19-$39 an hour depending on the day, and come complete with televised overhead scoring.

In addition to pizza and sandwiches (and, oddly enough, pasta and Spanish rice), you'll find the likes of Hacker Pschorr, Sierra Nevada and Goose Island on tap, with a full bar to back it up.
